Beginner Workshop: February 26, 2025, Thursday from 9:30AM-12PM

  • This workshop is for beginners to learn the fundamentals of Excel and requires no prior experience.
  • You will learn how to navigate the Excel interface and learn all the steps to create a sample Profit and Loss Statement from scratch.
    Course Learning Outcomes: 
  • Understand the features of a spreadsheet
  • Enter data
  • Use basic formulas and commands Format for printing

Intermediate Workshop: February 26, 2025, Thursday from 1:30PM to 4PM

  • Pre-requisite: Excel Fundamentals Workshop or exposure to Excel files created by others.
  • Learn some tips, tricks, and tools in Excel to improve productivity and analyze data in Excel.
    Learning Outcomes:
  • Productivity Tips (Navigation, Filtering, Sorting, delete blank rows)
    Data Analysis Tools (Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, Formulas and Functions)Introduction to Macros

FREE Virtual Job Fair Tuesday, February 25, 2025

All businesses and job seekers in the following counties are invited to register: Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego counties.

The job fair will take place Tuesday, February 25th, from 11am to 1pm.

There will also be staff available from our training grant programs to talk to job seekers about how our free grant programs can help job seekers get started in a satisfying and good paying career.
